USGBC (US Green Building Council) has ranked India as Number 3
Among the list of top 10 countries for LEED outside of the United States, USGBC (US Green Building Council) has ranked India as Number 3. 1st place occupied by Canada. Second place occupied by China followed by India, South Korea, Taiwan, Germany and Brazil. The list demonstrates the global reach of the movement that is transforming the built environment in to healthy, high performing structure that benefits the planet and its people.
Rajan may take charge as Director Finance of Cochin Shipyard
In 1984 Paul Rajan joined Cochin Shipyard as Executive Trainee. By profession is Chartered Accountant. He has assumed charge as Director Finance of Cochin Shipyard.
Akash Missile Test Fired successfully from Chandipur
From the launch complex 3 of ITR (Integrated Test Range) at Chandipur, surface to Air Akash missile test fired successfully. It is having the capacity to carry war head of 60 Kgs. Strike range of this missile is 25km. Indian Air Force Personnel had conducted this trial.
Gujarat State is leading Diary sector
As per the Assocham study, Gujarat state stood at the first place in the diary sector. Annual dairy output worth is more than Rs.12500 crores. In the total worth of Rs.60, 000 crores of the diary output, Gujarat share is 21%. But in terms of generating direct employment this state stood at 3rd Place.
Press Freedom of India dropped by 39 points
In the list of countries with partially free media, India score declined by 39 points and reached to 78 points. As per 2013 index, India rank was 20 with 38 points. Sweden was rated as World’s most independent Press. This country stood at top position. As per the list there are 8 worst counties. They were Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, North Korea, Iran, Eritrea, Guinea, Equatorial, Cuba, and Belarus.
