It is due to this time limit and vastness of plantation area that BSF made a record as per LIMCA Book of Record. The representatives of LIMCA Book of Records were present at different locations.
They planted fruit plants, ornamental plants and shadow plants.
Green Mission
The plantation of saplings is a part of yearly awareness programme Green Mission headed by BSF Director General D K Pathak to promote preservation of biodiversity and create awareness about global warming.
The green mission would help mend environmental degradation and maintain ecological balance.
