Mrunalinidevi Puar, Chancellor of Maharaja Sayajirao University was conferred with the Best Manager award at the Oxford Summit of Leaders (Science and Education) in UK. It was announced by the Socrates Committee of Europe Business Assembly (EBA Oxford, UK) on 2 September 2014.
The award will be presented at the summit of leaders and International Socrates Award ceremony to be held in Oxford UK on 14 October 2014.
She was selected for the Best Manager award based on the criteria that includes the university in the field of quality educational services rendering, implementation of up-to-date technologies and social focus.

- She is the first woman Chancellor of the Recognized Indian University with more than 35000 students.
- Puar did basic Degree in Home Science and MS (Food & Nutrition) from Iowa State University Of Science & Technology, USA.
- She was awarded PhD (Food & Nutrition) from The Maharaja Sayajirao University Of Baroda.
She received Outstanding Woman Achiever Award of the All Indian Management Association and also Alumni Achievement Award from MS University of Baroda. - At Present, she is a member of the Advisory Committee for Rajiv Gandhi Institute For Contemporary Studies, Rajiv Gandhi Foundation, New Delhi.
